Providence Baptist Church A Ministry of Hope and Encouragement. Here at Providence Baptist Church in Shady Dale, We base our ministries on sound biblical beliefs. (John 3)

The following is a summary of those beliefs we hold so dear to our hearts. We believe there is only one GOD. A God that has manifested Himself as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. Before there was an earth there was the Word and the Word was God and the Word is God. (John 1) God created all things, the Earth, Heaven and Hell, and that He is all knowing, all powerful and almighty.

We believe God created Man (all human beings) for the sole purpose of worshipping and serving Him. He is a loving and forgiving God (Galatians 5) and He loves us so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to die for us and if we, through faith, believe on Him, He will give us everlasting life.
