We had a great afternoon baking cookies for Kairos prison ministry’s upcoming discipleship week at McCormick. These cookies will serve as a tangible reminder for inmates that God loves them and that someone “on the outside” remembers them.

We have one more cookie baking party on Tuesday at 9:00 am! Come join us and help share the love of God in this sweet way!

And they’re gone! Our pews and other sanctuary furniture are headed back to Jefferson City, TN for a few weeks for restoration and repair. The work now begins on updating and refurbishing the room.

This morning the “pew crew” arrived from Tennessee, marking the first step in our sanctuary refurbishments. All the sanctuary pews, chairs, and furniture will be removed, sent back to the shop to be refurbished and reupholstered.

Our sanctuary will also get new carpet, paint, and hvac system cleaning, as well as refinished flooring on the stage.

We’ll be doing Sunday School and worshipping for a month in the Harry Hamilton Auditorium at Seneca High School. We’ll be back in our sanctuary in October. Join us at SHS starting this Sunday, September 6!

We hope you can join us this Sunday as we welcome back to Trinity several friends and colleagues from Trinity’s primary mission and ministry partner, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.

CBF Executive Coordinator, Dr Paul Baxley, will be preaching in our worship service Sunday. Joining Paul at Trinity will be Rev. Ellen Sechrest, Director of Mission Engagement, and CBF of SC’s Associate Coordinator, Dr. Josh Hunt.

CBF is celebrating 35 years of ministry and mission and Trinity has been a part of this movement of Baptist churches and individuals since the earliest of days.

Welcome, Paul, Ellen, and Josh to Trinity this Sunday! We hope you’ll join us for worship at 10:30 am, either in person or online.
