Yesterday was so full -- hard to know where to start. Bountyland does days like that better than anyone! Special thanks to all the folks who made our Pastor Appreciation Day special. Revs Andrew and Ivy Newman, our soon to graduate MIP interns (and newly appointed pastor and 1st lady of the Outland Church of God in Hemingway) along with our remarkable team of leaders and volunteers, along with a church full of the most loving and radically authentic members and friends anywhere, left an indelible mark on this Pastor's heart. Couple all that with drop in video greetings from dear friends and colleagues in ministry and an unexpected visit from precious family, and I was maxed out! I'm beyond humbled to celebrate my 27th of such days as pastor here. Even after all these years my faith is piqued by the new things God is doing in our church and community, and I'm doing by best to trustingly revel in the glorious uncertainty of what the Master will amaze us with next. Every Pastor should have the privilege of working in such an environment. Thanks again to our church family - great days ahead!!!
