🌊 THE VALLEY HAS A PURPOSE

One of the powerful reminders from this message is that the valley is not a wasted place.

The mountaintop may be where God gives us experiences, growth, strength, and fruitfulness—but the valley is where we get to pour it out. 🙏

God’s blessings and experiences in our lives were never meant to become a personal museum. The spiritual “well” He fills within us is meant to flow into the lives of others.

What God has taught you through your journey may be exactly what someone else needs as they walk through theirs.

⛰️ The mountain prepares us.
💧 The valley gives us an opportunity to pour out.
❤️ Ministry happens when we share what God has placed within us.

Don’t despise the valley. There may be someone there who needs what God has put in your well.

⛰️ WHERE ARE YOU SPIRITUALLY? 🌿
This morning, Pastor Jim reminded us that spiritually, we are all somewhere on the journey:
⛰️ Climbing the Mountain — A season of endurance and determination. Keep your focus on God and don’t allow distractions to pull you away from where He is leading you.
🌄 The Mountaintop — A season of fruitfulness and blessing. These moments of increased spiritual capacity and obedience are gifts from God—and while mountaintop experiences may be short-lived, they are necessary.
⬇️ Coming Down the Mountain — A season of processing the experience. What God teaches us on the mountain is meant to shape us as we continue the journey.
🌊 The Valley — A place of ministry and sharing. The valley isn’t simply a place of suffering. It can be the place where we pour out what God has placed within us. The wisdom, strength, and resources we gained on the mountain become the “water from our well” that can help someone else who is in need.
So, where are you today?
Are you climbing? Enjoying the mountaintop? Coming down? Or walking through the valley?
Wherever you are, God has purpose for that season. Keep trusting Him. Keep growing. Keep moving forward. And remember—the experience God gives you may be preparing you to help someone else. ❤️

Are You Hearing God—or Just Listening?

Pastor Jim explained the difference between hearing and listening—and it gave us something to think about.

👂 Hearing is the passive process of receiving sounds without necessarily giving them our attention.

👂 Listening is active. It requires us to focus, pay attention, and intentionally consider what is being said.

When it comes to God, the question is:

Are we simply hearing God’s Word, or are we truly listening to Him?

We can hear God’s Word every week, but listening means giving Him our attention and allowing what He says to change the way we live.

Hearing receives. Listening responds.

📖 Wednesday Night Class | Kingdom Authority

This week, we’re talking about surrender—because Kingdom authority begins with Kingdom surrender.

Jesus said:

“If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me.”
— Matthew 16:24–25

Following Jesus isn’t about being a part-time Christian. It’s about giving Him full lordship over our lives.

When we surrender our plans, our desires, and our need for control, we become more willing to follow His direction, trust His leading, and walk confidently in what He has called us to do.

You cannot fully experience Christ’s authority while only partially surrendering your life to Him.

The question is: What are you still holding onto that Jesus is asking you to surrender?

🛡️ The Weapon Will Not Prosper!

Pastor Jim explains that the very weapon the enemy forms to bring about your destruction will often become the means of their own defeat. ⚔️

While you cannot control the weapons the enemy forms against you, you can stand in the assurance that they will not prosper according to their original intent. 🙏

God is still in control. ✨
What was meant for your destruction, God can use for your victory! 🙌

Stand firm. Keep your faith. Trust God. The weapon may be formed, but it will not prosper! 💙🔥

🎙️ WHOSE VOICE ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

Every day, we hear voices that compete for our attention. 👂

The voice of familiarity reminds us of where we’ve been. 🏠
The voice of retreat tells us to back down when the battle gets difficult. 🛑
The voice of conventional thinking tells us we have to do things the way they’ve always been done. 🔄
And the voice of the enemy speaks fear, doubt, and intimidation. 😨

But there is another voice—the voice of faith. 🙏
The voice of God. ✨

In 1 Samuel 17, David heard all of these voices, but he chose to listen to God. While everyone else saw a giant they couldn’t defeat, David saw an opportunity to trust the God who had never failed him. 🗿⚔️

The voices around you may tell you to quit, retreat, or be afraid—but God’s voice calls you to faith. 🙌

Don’t let fear be louder than your faith. 💪
Don’t let your past define your future. 🌅
Don’t let the opinions of others determine what God has called you to do. ❤️

Listen for His voice. Trust His Word. Step forward in faith. 🙏📖

Your giant may be big, but your God is bigger. 🙌💙
