Being a pastor is classified in the four most difficult professions.
This because a pastor should be:
•Preacher
•ExampleParent
•Spouse
•Advisor
•Speaker
•Planner
•Minister
•Visionary
•Director
•Mentor
•Friend
•Daycare
•Reconciliation maker
•Marriage counselor
•Youth Counselor
•Leader trainer
•Teacher of the Bible
•Intercessor ,etc.
Also many times it should be:
• Church Bearer
• Taxi driver
• Cleaning staff
•Leader of Praise and worship
•The 1st to arrive and the last to leave

Every Pastor constantly faces criticism like:
● I don't like the sermon
● The service is very long
● Prayers are long
● Pastor's children are not an example.

One of the most difficult things in a pastor's life is knowing that the people they love betray them constantly.

Pastor is often the loneliest person in the congregation.

You can see a pastor being surrounded by people, but very rarely people who are interested in their problems,needs or even in their lives. And let's not say the demands congregations put on Pastors' children.

For this I would like to give you some advice: If you have a pastor or have as friends children of Pastors take care of them, protect them, pray for them always,
connect to their vision, support them, support them, but most of all, love them.

📖 Jeremiah 3:15 says:
“And I will give you shepherds according to mine heart, which shall bear you with knowledge and understanding. ”

So take care of them because "they watch over your souls as those who should pay attention"
Hebrews 13: 17

Let's honor the lives of all those men of God who have sacrificed so much including some of their family's needs to attend God's call.

Value the time a pastor dedicates to you, you don't know how much their own family would value that time.

Which of the attributes from Colossians 3:12 do you most need to put on today? How else has God “outfitted” you for service to Him?

PRAY

Please clothe me, Jesus, in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Just Like Jesus

Romans 12:2 NKJV

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

REFLECT

Blending into this world means living in opposition to the Scriptures. However, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can look and love just like Jesus!

How have you been blending into the world? How has God changed you?

PRAY

Dear God, please make me more like Jesus each day.

8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith

REFLECT

When have you experienced freedom from seeking self-worth in achievement or from others? How can finding yourself “in Christ” free you from both pride and self-rejection?

PRAY

Loving God, thank You that I don’t need to try to be “somebody” to be loved and accepted by You.

Romans 8:31

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

How have you seen God bring good out of difficulty? Where do you need to trust Him?

Beautiful Savior, please help me keep my eyes on You and not on my problems. You’re always faithful!

🙏❤️ None of us are born Christians. We naturally crave worldly things, worldly thoughts and the Bible calls this “cravings of our flesh.” The Bible says we are born spiritually dead before we put our faith in Jesus as God’s Son (Ephesians 2:1).
He gives us free will to choose so He can change us spiritually within! ✝️. He wants us to choose life in Him and shed our old ways of thinking such as, self loathing, guilt and shame, regret, gossiping, judging, and pompous attitudes that comes from our worldly choices. It takes time to shed those ways we have and we can’t do it alone!
Like your child, spouse or that little doggie you love so much, His love is way more than that for you! With a sincere heart to want to change, He will forgive and help you! ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

Putting on Humility

Philippians 2:7

[Jesus] took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.

REFLECT

How can you lovingly address the needs and issues others are facing? What does it mean for you to live out the humility of Jesus?

PRAY

Holy God, thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus for me. Please give me the mindset of Christ as I humbly serve my brothers and sisters.

Doing Something Right

2 Chronicles 33:12

In his distress he sought the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly.

REFLECT

What regrets do you have? How might you honor God by letting Him redeem them and use you to serve Him?

PRAY

Thank You, Father, that You’re always ready to hear my honest prayers.
