Kenya Update!

The school is progressing very well and we have grown from 16 students to 25 students in the last 6 months and should be able to accommodate around 30 with the new dormitory.

A new house mother has been hired to oversee the new dormitory and care for the additional children. At present we have 5 staff that we pay for, 2 matrons, 1 cook, 1 watchman and 1 teacher. There is also one teacher provided by the government who has kindly updated us with all the children's names and grades.

We have 3 students in PP1, 2 in Grade 1, 1 in Grade 6, and 2 in Grade 7. These kids are physically handicapped but intellectually okay and so they follow the regular curriculum and are doing very well in their education. We have 17 Stage Based Learners who have physical and mild mental disabilities and are taught differently.
