At Church of the Red Rocks, we believe God’s love is expansive, welcoming, and meant for everyone.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the sacred worth and belovedness of our LGBTQ+ siblings and neighbors. We affirm that every person is created in God’s image and deserves to be welcomed, valued, and loved exactly as they are.

As part of the United Church of Christ’s Love is Louder initiative, we join in proclaiming a message of hope, justice, and compassion:

We hold in prayer all who grieve and all whose lives have been shaped by sacrifice.

May we carry forward their legacy with gratitude, compassion, and a commitment to peace.

Pentecost is when we remember the Holy Spirit descending on the apostles in the form of fiery tongues. It is the birth of the Church, and we celebrate it with red and flaming images.
