Josh preached through Lamentations 3:19–24, “Hope in the Midst of Horror.”
Throughout this passage, we were reminded that even in the hardest of seasons, we as believers are called to remain steadfast in faith as we wait for the Lord’s final deliverance. When disappointment, suffering, and difficult circumstances come, we can cling to the truth that God’s steadfast love never ceases and His mercies never come to an end.
As you head into this week, how will you choose to remain steadfast in the Lord, even in the midst of disappointment and hard times?

Every Sunday, we have Aletheia Kids during service!
Our kids ministry is designed for children from newborn through 6th grade, where they can play games, learn Scripture, dive into Bible lessons, and worship together!

We believe church should be a place where kids can have fun, grow in their faith, and build a strong foundation in God’s Word.

Aletheia Kids is something your child won’t want to miss! We can’t wait to see you and your family this Sunday!

This past Sunday, Josh preached through Romans 8:14–18, “Sonship and Suffering.” In these verses, we’re reminded that even in the hardest seasons and deepest suffering we face on this earth, nothing compares to the eternal blessing that awaits us when we return home to the Father. So, how do we carry that perspective with us into this week? We can face each hardship with hope, remembering that our suffering is temporary, but the glory that awaits us is eternal.

This week, Josh preached through 1 Kings 17:1–16 in a message titled “Lessons from the Book.”

Through this passage, we are reminded that sometimes the Lord gives us an invitation to slow down, and that invitation is just as meaningful as His invitation to go.
There may be seasons when we feel as though the Lord isn’t moving in our lives, when He has led us into a place of retreat or stillness. But even in those quiet seasons, He is at work. What may feel like waiting to us can be purposeful preparation in His hands.

May we learn to trust Him not only when He calls us to go, but also when He calls us to rest and receive.

This past Sunday, one of our elders, Greg, preached through Jeremiah 29:11. Through this passage, we’re reminded that not everything we encounter or hear from God will be comforting—but it will always be true.
Sometimes following God can lead us into difficult seasons, but we can trust that even in the hard places, God is still good. His plans are faithful, His promises are true, and He is always with us.

This past Sunday, Josh preached through Ephesians 2:8-10, “Salvation By God’s Design.” Through this teaching, we were reminded that even when we do all the good we can, we are not the ones who deserve the glory or get the glory; God does. Everything we do should point back to the glory of the Lord.

We are called to put ourselves aside and make God the center of it all. As we step into a new school year, busier work schedules, and the end of summer, how can you give all the glory to God this week?
