Our church is facing a difficult time. On May 9th of this year (2026), Pastor Chad
Jamerson had an argument with his wife, Apostle Ivory Jamerson. The argument
escalated and ended with a physical altercation. The Police were called and Pastor
Chad was charged with domestic violence, He has not been found guilty of any
crime at this writing, but his case is ongoing. He has been relieved of all duties as
pastor. The leadership of the church (Acting Pastor, Elders, and Apostolic
oversight) have committed themselves to do everything possible to achieve
restoration. Restoration to God and His Kingdom (as Pastor, a person must be
beyond reproach), restoration within the entire Jamerson family, and restoration
with the Body of Christ, as befitting his calling.
To achieve this end, the Elders and Acting Pastor are submitting to the Apostolic
Counsel of Prophet Pat Bryson, and Apostle Howard Cordell. Prophet Bryson is
known by many churches in our area, and he is well-known by our congregation.
He holds the position of Apostolic Counsel in our church. Apostle Cordell is the
President of Midwest Minister's Fellowship, an organization that has counseled
many churches in a wide variety of personal, personnel, and organizational
problems to mediate differences and provide appropriate disciplinary action. He
has been the overseer for this congregation for over 30 years. We have also
received counsel from Apostle Gary Crawford. Apostle Crawford is not an overseer
of our church governmentally, but he is a trusted friend, and a man who hears
God. Also, the Jamerson's are being counseled by an objective, outside counselor
with 28 years of counseling experience, and 20 years of experience as a Pastor
Many have chosen to criticize or even condemn us as we have faced this issue,
Our intent is not, and never was, to "sweep the issue under the rug". Please pray
for us as we endeavor to follow Jesus in everything we do
