Syttende Mai is all-day in Ballard 🇳🇴

Start with us at Olaf’s at 2PM—this is when the group actually comes together. Good energy, and an easy lead-in before things get crowded.

We’ll head to the parade at 6PM. 🫎

Want to march with the Ballard Elks? Be at Olaf’s by 4PM.

Happy Syttende Mai!

If you don't know what Syttende Mai is, Its the Norwegian Constitution Day! Here is a little explanation and the link shows some fun things to do around Seattle tomorrow!

The 17th of May, known as Constitution Day, marks the signing of the Norwegian Constitution in Eidsvoll on May 17, 1814, declaring Norway an independent kingdom. Celebrations began informally among students and evolved into a national holiday featuring parades, traditional costumes, and community festivities.

Seattle's festivities are the largest Syttende Mai celebration outside of Norway - join us for the fun on Saturday, May 17!
