Father's Day.
It starts with a hand to hold.
Then a shoulder to lean on. A face to look up to. A life built around showing up — at the breakfast table, at the hard moments, and yes, at Mass with your people beside you.
We are so grateful for every man who was with us this Father's Day. Young dads. Seasoned dads. Coaches, uncles, godfathers, and mentors. Every man who has ever guided, protected, or shown up for someone who needed them.
Every single one of them matters to this community.

If you've been thinking about coming — or coming back — this is your sign. There's a place here for you. 🙏

Many fathers carry a silent worry: What if my children stray from faith? The fear of failing them is immense. But Jesus' words, "Do not be afraid," remind us that trust can overcome fear. This Father's Day, we find solace in His fatherly love, knowing we aren't alone in our worries for our children's safety, future, and faith.

Happy Father's Day! 🙏 To every dad who walked into Mass this morning with a little one in tow — even one as camera-aware as this little lady — thank you for showing your family what faith looks like. We're praying today for all the fathers and father figures who have guided us, shaped us, and moved us in ways only a father can — including those we miss today.

"Serviam." — I will serve.

Serving our greater community does not always mean holding a title or standing at the front.
Sometimes it means living our faith in the ordinary moments of every day.

When our thoughts are gentle, our words are kind, and our actions are rooted in compassion, we make room for Christ to be known through us. A listening ear, a patient heart, a helping hand, a prayer for someone who is hurting—these are not small things. They are the daily ways love becomes real.

If this message speaks to you, share it with someone who needs the reminder that Christian service begins in everyday life.

We were helpless and sinners, yet Christ died for us. God didn't wait for us to be perfect. He knew our struggles and our sinfulness, and still, Christ loved us and died for us. Salvation can't be earned; it's a gift we accept. Our pain, suffering, and helplessness didn't stop His love.
