Faith in action looks like this. ๐บ๐ธ
The St. Patrick's Men's Club rolled up their sleeves and headed to Catholic Charities MANA House to host a BBQ for the homeless veterans living there โ men who served us in the Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Fifteen dedicated volunteers. About fifty veterans. A spread of hamburgers, brats, beans, coleslaw, and potato salad โ capped off with a raffle of military memorabilia that brought out the stories, the laughs, and the camaraderie only veterans can share.
"A great meal, a great day, and good fellowship," said Ed Hanson, the Men's Club coordinator โ and you could see it on every face in the room.
The Men's Club's work at MANA House is just one piece of St. Patrick's broader outreach โ feeding the hungry, clothing the homeless, and showing up for those who served our country and now need someone to serve them.
To our veterans: thank you. To our volunteers: thank you. To God: be the glory.
