This morning during service, Pastor Matt used Barrett and his little ill-fitting Armor of God costume as part of his sermon, and it painted such a powerful picture! 🛡️

‘Armor made for someone else will never fit you. God gives you the exact armor you need for the purpose He called you to.’

So often we try to carry what was meant for someone else — their calling, their gifts, their expectations. But God never asked us to wear armor that wasn’t made for us. He equips each of us specifically for the purpose He has called us to.

What God has for you will fit you in His timing! ✨🙏

What a beautiful time we had at our annual Mother’s Day Tea at Gathering Church of God! 💐

A heartfelt thank you to Sister Patti Golden for organizing such a special event, along with the many helping hands who made it all come together. A special shoutout to Marsha Mercier for preparing so many delicious sweets that everyone enjoyed!

We were also blessed by Carrie Shelton with Mary Kay, who created a thoughtful “at home facial” experience for each guest to take home and even demonstrated it for us during the tea. And Megan Drawbaugh led us through a meaningful Bible study while showing us how to apply makeup—such a fun and encouraging time together!

We are so thankful for the fellowship, laughter, and love shared. It truly was a special day celebrating the wonderful women in our church! 💗
