What a special morning at The Gathering Church of God! 🏈🍳

We had the privilege of serving breakfast to our local football team and sharing a devotional with these young men. 🙏 We’re thankful for the opportunity to serve, encourage, and pour into the next generation!

We’re praying for each player as they head into this football season—that God gives them strength, wisdom, character, and courage both on and off the field.

We’re cheering you on! 🏈🖤💛

Today, Pastor Chase reminded us of a powerful truth: the battle has already been won!🥇

What an encouraging reminder that our hope is not found in the outcome of today’s battles, but in the finished work of Christ. We don’t fight for victory! God’s Word is settled forever, and His promises remain true!

Let’s walk in faith, stand firm on His Word, and remember that the enemy’s defeat has already been declared. Victory belongs to the Lord! 🙌📖

This week, Pastor Matt had the opportunity to attend the Church of God General Assembly.

He was blessed to hear powerful messages from many great men of God, but General Assembly is about more than preaching. It is also a time for the business of the Church of God, where ministers come together to pray, discuss, vote, and help shape decisions regarding updates and changes to the Minutes of the Church of God.

We are thankful for Pastor Matt’s willingness to represent The Gathering Church of God and to prayerfully take part in these important discussions. Thank you for your prayers during this week as many important decisions were made by men of God!
