We're having a special service on August 27, 2023, with Joey & Renee Crenshaw. Service will start at 10:00 AM, with special music and special preaching. This will be followed by dinner on the grounds consisting of sloppy joes, watermelon, and more!

If you still are on the fence about about going to church this weekend for Easter, I want to encourage you to go.
A perfect church doesn’t exist. A perfect pastor doesn’t exist. A perfect congregation doesn’t exist. So don’t worry about trying to find one.
Just go. Show up as you are-- no matter the junk you may have in your life.
If you've never been inside a church, no one will even know this weekend. Churches will be full of new faces and they will welcome you with open arms.
You don't have to have an Easter dress. You don't have to have a new outfit. You don't need to have it all together. You don't have to have all the answers. Just go.
You are never too far gone for Jesus. Every single church is full of humans who are flawed but faithful, broken but believing, imperfect but inspired. People who may be hanging on by a thread but grace keeps them hanging in there.
So, if you are still thinking about it--- just go.
You will be welcomed.
By the people.
But most importantly, by Jesus.

FRIDAY FUNNY:
A minister who was very fond of pure, hot horseradish always kept a bottle of it on his dining room table. He offered some to a guest, who took a big spoonful. When the guest finally was able to speak, he gasped, "I've heard many ministers preach hellfire, but you are the first one I've met who passed out a sample of it!"

'Tis the Season

We have just passed the first Sunday in December; a month that contains our greatest holiday: Christmas!

Christmas means a lot to different folks, but in America it still means family, friends, and fellowship.

Of course the real meaning of Christmas has to do with God sending His Only Begotten Son to die for the sins of the world. 2 Corinthians 9:15 simply says, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." Our greatest challenge as we enjoy the decorations, music, and activities of the season: to celebrate the coming of God in the flesh (Immanuel) and His death on Calvary to atone for our sins! We are waiting with anticipation His rapture of all believers in the clouds!
It would be wonderful if His coming for His bride was this Christmas season!
