Tomorrow our Snowball Mountain Challenge begins, and we lift up this special week to the Lord! ⛰️❄️

Heavenly Father,
As we prepare to welcome our Challengers tomorrow, we ask Your blessing over every child, every volunteer, and every moment of this week. Fill our church with laughter, learning, and the powerful presence of Your Holy Spirit. ✨

Guide the hearts of the children as they hear Your Word, draw strength from Your love, and discover that with You, they truly can do all things. Bless our volunteers with energy, patience, and joy as they share Your love through games, crafts, songs, and stories. 💛

May each child leave this week feeling seen, loved, and confident that "with God, I am strong!" 💪

🎒✏️ School Supply & Backpack Drive! 🎒✏️

It's that time again! We are collecting school supplies and backpacks for the children of the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry clients. Last year we distributed supplies to 348 children — an increase from the previous year — and the need continues to grow! 🙏

✨ Most-Needed Items: ✨
📓 Spiral notebooks & loose-leaf paper
✏️ Pencils, red pens & Sharpies (black & colors)
🎨 Crayons & highlighters
📁 1" binders, folders with prongs, dividers
📐 Dry erase markers, index cards, erasers
🎒 Large backpacks (especially black!)
📝 Pencil cases & plastic pencil boxes

A complete list with quantities is available at the church!

📍 Drop-Off Options:
• Daily Bread Food Pantry bins between the glass doors at HUCC
• OR drop off at the Food Pantry directly (M–F, 9 AM – Noon; please avoid Wed 9–11 AM)

We are so excited to introduce our new Nursery Coordinator, Ms. Nicole! 🎉 Following Ms. Karen's well-deserved retirement, Ms. Nicole is stepping up to lovingly care for our littlest worshippers, and we are so grateful! 🙏

Our nursery is available during worship for our youngest members, offering a safe, fun, and welcoming space for babies and toddlers while parents enjoy the service. Please feel free to stop by, say hello, and let Ms. Nicole know if your little one will be joining her! 💛

✨ Confirmation Class — Coming This Fall! ✨

Calling all middle school and high school students! A Confirmation class will be offered at HUCC during the 2026–2027 school year, and we'd love for you to be part of it! 🙏

Confirmation is a meaningful commitment — a journey of meeting together to learn about the Bible, the Church, and our faith, leading to becoming a full member of the church and publicly declaring faith in Jesus Christ and the promises made at baptism. ✝️❤️
