He does not come into judgment but has passed from death to life. "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:1-2
REACH THE LOST THE BIBLICAL WAY - AS JESUS TAUGHT IT
ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH YOUR EFFORTS TO
EVANGELISE OTHERS? So often our sharing of the gospel seems relatively fruitless in terms of results, and we sometimes get dejected at how few conversions we see. One fundamental question we need to ask ourselves is: "Am I doing evangelism amongst the lost according to what Jesus taught?" If in fact, we are deviating from the method that Jesus taught, and from the resources he purposed, is it any wonder we see little fruit from our efforts? In Luke, he recorded Jesus telling Zacchaeus: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” Luke 19:10. And the Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy states that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners". 1 Timothy 1:15. Jesus did not rely on words alone to convince people as to who He was. Numerous times, He said that if they did not believe His words then they should believe because of His miracles, for example: "Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me.” John 10:25. "Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. But if I, do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father." "Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves." John 14:11
Jesus commanded His disciples to GO into all the world and PREACH THE GOSPEL. The keyword is “Go.” Most churches today do not GO as the Bible commands. Rather, they sit or remain idle. They are as those unfaithful servants in Matthew of whom Jesus spoke, “‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?” Matthew 20:6. The most important duty of every Christian is to go soul-winning. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience.” 2nd Corinthians 5:10-11. Every born-again believer has a responsibility to preach the truth of the Gospel, i.e., to share the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified and brought to an end the Levitical Law and presented us with the promise of grace through faith, with lost sinners so that they can be forgiven, baptize and spend eternity in Heaven.
