This past Tuesday, Mrs. Cassie’s 2nd grade PREP class learned about and experienced the Last Supper.

Re-enacting the Last Supper helps the students deepen their understanding of Holy Thursday and the institution of the Eucharist. This lesson is an important step as they prepare for both the upcoming Easter season and their First Holy Communion in May.

Happy Fall! This Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, October 22nd, 23rd and 24th, Saint Mary Parish will celebrate its Annual Forty Hours Eucharistic Devotion at 7pm in the Church. All students are asked to attend at least one evening of Forty Hours with their parents. We hope you will attend all 3 evenings!

Please note the following: There will be index cards with pens in the main vestibule of church to be used for attendance. We are asking parent's/guardians to include their child(ren's) name, grade and teacher on the index card.

• Families are asked to arrive at the church between 6:30pm and 6:45pm and parents need to remain with their child/ren
• Forty Hours is their PREP class and will be held in church; the school will not be open
• Students attending Sunday or Monday evening, are to place their attendance cards in one of the boxes at the church entranceways
• Students attending on Tuesday evening, are to place their attendance cards in the collection basket during the evening service

Would you like to become an Altar Server? We invite all boys and girls in 4th grade and above to consider attending one of our two New Altar Server Ministry Training Sessions, Sunday, September 17th at 1pm in the Church or Monday, September 18th at 3:30pm also in Church.

Join us on Saturday, September 30th for a day of encounter with Jesus’ infinite love for us in the Eucharist at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa as part of the Eucharistic Congress. The day begins with Holy Mass at 9:00 AM celebrated by Archbishop Pérez and concludes with Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament at 4:00 PM. Talks by compelling speakers will be offered. Tracks are available in English, Spanish, American Sign Language as well as a College Track, Teen Track (ages 13-17) and a Children's Track (ages 6-12).

Meals will not be served, please bring your own lunch; Adults $25.00 per person, no charge for clergy and youth. Register by tapping on the flyer below or click the following link.

The Eucharistic Congress Choir that will lead us in praise of God during the opening Mass is composed of over 200 voices from 33 parishes and high schools of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  Here are the groups represented by the choir:​
