🌟 Teacher Tuesday Spotlight 🌟

Meet Ms. Katy! She’s been part of the Good Shepherd family for five years and serves as one of our Assistant Directors and Department Head for Infants & Toddlers. You’ll often find her spending time with the babies - and she loves getting to know the children and families throughout our school.

Katy believes play is a child’s work and that strong relationships with children and families are an important foundation for learning. She has three children of her own, and she’d love to chat when you stop by. We’re grateful to have her caring leadership at Good Shepherd!

We have a door competition happening! Help us decide which classroom should win a gift card for having the best door. All you need to do to vote is “Like” the image of the door you like best!

Voting will run through Friday, October 30th and the winner will be announced on Halloween!

🌟 Teacher Tuesday Spotlight 🌟

Meet Ms. Shannon, one of our VPK assistant teachers! She’s been part of the Good Shepherd family for six years and loves watching children master new skills and get excited about learning. We’re delighted to have her back as Ms. Jess’s aide this year!

When she’s not at school, Shannon enjoys volunteering with her daughter’s prison ministry, cheering on her son at the gym, watching college football, and baking for his school. She’s also a proud dog mom to Jaxon. We’re so glad she’s part of our Chickadees team and can’t wait to see our students grow with her!

🌟 Teacher Tuesday Spotlight 🌟

Meet Mrs. J., our VPK Lead Teacher! For six years, she’s brought fun, warmth, and a little extra sparkle to Good Shepherd. In her spare time, she loves cheering on her own kids at their sports and heading to the beach with her family.

Mrs. J. is passionate about helping young children learn and grow, and she brings her VPK experience and caring spirit to the classroom every day. We’re so glad she shares her joy - and plenty of glitter - with our VPK students!

🌟 Teacher Tuesday Spotlight 🌟

This week’s Teacher Tuesday is shining the spotlight on a teacher who brings a wealth of experience and a true passion for helping children get ready for their next big step! Ms. Annette is our Lead Teacher in the Transition Preschool classroom, where she works with our older 3-year-olds as they grow in confidence, independence, and readiness for VPK. 🦢

After seven years of teaching and five years here at Good Shepherd, Ms. Annette is no stranger to the preschool classroom! She spent the last couple of years teaching VPK, and while she may be a VPK teacher at heart, we’re so excited to have her bringing that experience and knowledge to our 3s to help bridge the gap.

We’re so grateful to have Ms. Annette helping our older 3s thrive today while preparing them for all the exciting things that lay ahead for them!
