When a man becomes a Knight of Columbus, he isn't handed a sword. He's given a rosary.
Because the battle we fight isn't fought with steel. An enemy prowls this world, seeking the ruin of souls, and that's the war a Knight is armed for.
The rosary is how he stands his ground, both sword and shield. A sword to cut through despair and doubt. A shield to guard his heart, his family, and his soul against the one who seeks his ruin.
Even when it means standing against the current of the world around him, a Knight remembers that he wasn't made for this world.
He was made for heaven.
Pray the rosary. Stand your ground.
