The Allen family invites you to join them in celebrating the life and legacy of Superintendent Rev. Bret Allen on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Destiny Church Sacramento, 9470 Micron Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95827. The outside doors will open at noon. Consider extra time for parking. The service will start promptly at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the Allen family is requesting donations to the Widows to Warriors fund. As a personal ministry of Reverend Valerie Allen, this fund supports ministry to widows throughout the Northern California and Nevada District. Motherhood is a complex mix of "the hardest thing you'll ever do" and "the best thing that ever happened to you."

Proverbs 31:25-30 NIV She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
