This past Sunday, Minister Malik Baker preached a powerful message entitled “Just Keep Swimming” from Matthew 24:13! 🌊

Just as swimming means moving through natural waters, spiritually, we must learn to move through the waters of life—our troubles, hardships, problems, and obstacles.

But the message wasn’t just to swim; it was to KEEP SWIMMING! The word keep reminds us to continue, while swimming emphasizes an ongoing action. Our endurance cannot be temporary; it must be continuous!

No matter what waters life brings your way, don’t stop moving, don’t stop pushing, and don’t stop enduring. JUST KEEP SWIMMING! 🌊🙌🏽

Due to the forecasted rain and the fact that our Community Day activities are scheduled to take place outdoors, we have made the decision to POSTPONE OUR COMMUNITY DAY UNTIL SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST!

The safety and comfort of our community, volunteers, and guests are important to us, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy everything we have planned!

This Sunday at OneWay Christian Church, we’re wearing PINK, but there’s a much greater purpose behind it!

Did you know? 💗

🎀 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer during her lifetime.

🎀 In 2026, approximately 321,910 women in the United States are expected to be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.

🎀 More than 4 MILLION breast cancer survivors are living in the United States today!

🎀 Black women face the highest breast cancer death rate among racial and ethnic groups in the United States.

These aren’t just statistics. These are mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, friends, and members of our communities!

And this Sunday, we’re making it PERSONAL! 🙌🏽

We are especially looking forward to hearing a POWERFUL TESTIMONY from our very own Minister McLean! 💕 There’s something special about hearing a testimony from someone right in your own church family. We believe her story will encourage hearts, strengthen faith, and remind us why awareness, support, and prayer matter!
