Church is CANCELLED for January 25, 2026!

Friends, in anticipation of an icy weekend, we will not gather for church this Sunday, January 25th. All church activities are suspended and/or rescheduled. We hope this gives us time to get the word out! On Sunday morning we will post a brief message so that you may feel centered and connected as you focus on keeping safe and warm.

Please tell a friend, check on a neighbor, and we will be so ready to see each other on February 1!

At JUMC, we are building bigger tables! We pray that no one will go hungry, and that God will use us to answer that prayer. Sign up here to be matched--families that need some help putting food on the table will be matched with a host.

After some requests, we have also added a way to sign up as a sponsor--this allows you to buy the ingredients, someone else do the cooking, and a third family be the guest.

The gift cards at JUMC have run out. We have no more to give away at this time. We are so sorry if you missed it and we know you do need help--we will continue to support CUOC in hopes that it helps feed you, no matter who you are.

We take a collection every month with a recommended donation of the year (so this year, a donation of $20.25) and we don't touch it except for mission. We used it to buy as many grocery store gift cards as we could, and we were so honored to be able to help our neighbors.

To continue to be able to help bridge the gap created by the SNAP freeze, we're going to invite people to partner to feed a family once a week. You can use the sign up sheet here to join this ministry. Open to all.
