Anger can be a real and honest emotion, but when it settles in, it can quietly shape how we see ourselves, others, and even God.

However, Jesus invites us to bring our anger into the light,
Not with shame,
but with honesty, healing, and a path toward freedom.

Whether you have big questions about God, carry skepticism, or are aware that resentment has been growing in you, there is space to come as you are.

Together, this Sunday we’ll consider what it could look like to become people shaped less by outrage and more by love, peace, and the way of Jesus.

Sometimes the more we have, the more anxious we become about losing it.

But Jesus doesn’t want us to live weighed down by worry and anxiety.

He invites us to trust Him with everything we have and to remember that He will give us what we need for each day.

When we live with that kind of trust, our lives can become more full of peace.

On Memorial Day, we remember the men and women who gave their lives while serving to protect peace, defend freedom, and pursue justice.

We honor their courage, sacrifice, and love.

We hold close the families who still carry grief and loss.

As we reflect today, we are reminded that God is near to the brokenhearted.

We pray for peace in a world that still carries pain.

And we give thanks for lives marked by courage, service, and selflessness.

Today, we remember.

We honor.

And we hold onto the hope and peace found in Jesus.

Money and possessions can consume our thoughts and desires.

Many of us feel a pull between holding on for security and opening our hands in trust.

That tension is real, and it can quietly shape what we chase, fear, and depend on.

This week, we’ll explore how Jesus invites us into a different way of living, where our money and our stuff no longer master us.

A kind of life where generosity becomes a practice of freedom, and trust is learned one step at a time.

Whether you’ve got plenty or are stretched thin, skeptical, curious, or just tired of carrying the pressure alone, there is space to come as you are.

Save the date for our annual Freedom Walk on June 13 in Oakland!

We’re partnering with to take a simple step with a powerful purpose: Walking one mile to stand with those impacted by human trafficking in our own backyard.

This isn’t just a global issue. It’s happening right here in the Bay Area.
In fact, Alameda County is ranked as one of the top trafficking spots in the US.

So when we walk, we are saying “not on our watch.”

Together, we’re choosing to bring awareness, advocate for freedom, and be part of real change.

Join us for this family-friendly event:

More often than not, we tend to want God’s blessings to come in bulk. Or we pray that God will give us everything we need so that we don’t have to worry anymore.

But Jesus’ prayer reminds us that He actually cares about far more than just getting our needs met.

Rather, He invites us to experience His love daily.
