Sometimes life doesn’t look like the story we had planned. The path, job, career, or relationship we wanted may not work out the way we hoped. But even when things don’t go our way, we can trust that the promises and character of God are still good.
God is the Alpha and the Omega. He sees the beginning and the end, while we can only see what’s right in front of us. When we live with an eternal perspective instead of a temporary one, we can release the belief that we deserve a certain outcome and recognize that everything we have is a gift of God’s grace. 💙
In this devotional, Jered Rowe reminds us that even when the story looks different than the one we wrote for ourselves, we can trust the One who is writing it.
