A lot of people want a private faith that never costs them anything publicly. But Jesus never called anyone to secret discipleship.

Baptism does not save you. Jesus does. Baptism is the outward response of inward faith. It is the moment someone stops hiding and publicly says, β€œI belong to Him.” πŸ™πŸΌ

Jesus endured a brutal public cross for our salvation. Getting in the water is not too much to ask in response.

β€œIf you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
-Romans 10:9 πŸ“–

A lot of people know about Jesus without ever actually being changed by Him. Let that sink in.

Information alone does not transform a person. You can know Bible verses, attend church, listen to sermons, and still carry bitterness, pride, anger, or emptiness that God wants to heal.

Jesus did not come just to make us informed. He came to make us new. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Real transformation is slow sometimes. It looks like learning to forgive when your flesh wants revenge. Choosing humility when pride feels easier. Becoming more honest, patient, compassionate, and surrendered over time.

Following Jesus is not behavior management. It is heart transformation. πŸ’š

The most dangerous lie in culture is this: β€œBe a good person and you’ll be fine.” The gospel says otherwise.

No amount of good works can erase sin. Trying harder cannot heal a broken heart. Salvation is not earned through effort. It is received through faith in Jesus. πŸ™πŸΌ

Grace is offensive to pride because it leaves no room to boast. Jesus did not come to reward perfect people. He came to rescue people who could never save themselves.

πŸ’¬ What do you think is harder for people today: admitting they need grace or accepting they cannot earn it?

β€œFor by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
-Ephesians 2:8 πŸ“–

πŸ’™ What an incredible baptism Sunday! We celebrated 8 people taking their next step of faith through baptism last weekend! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Each baptism is a powerful reminder that God is changing lives, and we are honored to celebrate alongside these individuals as they publicly declare their faith in Jesus.

Join us in thanking God for these 8 lives and all He is doing at Life Valley! πŸŽ‰

Your generosity does more than keep the lights on. It helps students get to camp, provides resources for families, and creates space for people to encounter Jesus in real, life-changing ways.

Every time you give, you’re joining God in changing lives across our community. What happens here on Sundays and beyond is possible because people choose to invest in something bigger than themselves.

Ready to partner with us? Give today at lifevalley.church and be part of the story God is writing through Life Valley. πŸ’™

Most people are terrified of getting older because they think aging means becoming less valuable. So they spend their lives trying to stay young instead of trying to become wise.

Culture obsesses over appearance, status, and relevance. Scripture talks about character, faithfulness, and finishing well. One fades fast. The other actually lasts.

Aging well is not about pretending you are still 25. It is about becoming the kind of person people trust, learn from, and want around because your life reflects Jesus more now than it did years ago. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Not everyone gets the privilege of growing old. So maybe instead of fighting it, we should ask God to help us use it well. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’™

People in churches can be judgmental, controlling, careless, or deeply disappointing. Sometimes the wounds left by church people cut deeper because they came from people who claimed to represent God. If that has been your experience, we are genuinely sorry.

But broken people are everywhere, including churches. The failure of people does not change the character of Jesus. He still heals, restores, welcomes, and meets people with grace. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

At Life Valley, nobody has to pretend to have it all together before they walk through the doors. Whether it has been years since you stepped into church or you have never been before, there is a place for you here.

We would love to welcome you this Sunday. 🀍

Ever feel frustrated with God because obedience still led to pain? Sometimes the hardest part of following Jesus is realizing He will lead you places you would never choose on your own. Places that stretch your faith, expose your weakness, and force you to trust Him deeper.

Following the Shepherd does not always lead to comfort, but it always leads to purpose. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

πŸ’¬ Have you ever gone through a season that made no sense at the time, but later realized God was shaping you through it? Your story could encourage someone else today!
