Last night was Pasta night! 🍝 A big thank you to all who brought a dish. Pastor Jeff brought a good word from James chapter 4. We learned about how God is jealous for us with a godly jealousy. He doesn’t want anything taking up his place in our lives. He wants to be our Lord. We also talked about the devastating effects of pride. How pride can actually position us to be in opposition with God - in opposition to his blessings and victories. He actually “resists” the proud. Pride says, “I’ve got this.” Humility says, “God, I need you.” We also talked about how God gives more grace. His grace provides a pathway for us to come close to God when we are lost or separated from him. God not only provides the pathway but also gives us the power to do it. It’s all his grace!!!!
Pathway to a healthy walk with God:
Humble self --> Submit to God —> Resist the Devil —> Draw near to God

As you apply God’s word in your life, you will see the fruits from it. 🍏 Then your faith can only grow from there. ↗️
