HOLD YOUR SPIRITUAL GROUND:
He came to his own and his own received him not. Israel still has not accepted Jesus. There needs to be a revival there.
Jesus said, "Offenses must come, but woe to them who are the instruments of darkness...it is better that they had never been born." It is something to think about.
In Jesus of course, there is no Jew nor Greek, nor gentile --God is no respecter of nationalities or races.—all are equal.
He did choose Israel to give his 10 Commandments and Moses --but at the end of the day, only two Israelites ,out of the perhaps millions who left Egypt, actually went into the Promised Land.
Why? Because of disobedience.
All of God's covenants have conditions; and just like any contract, when the conditions are broken; the contract becomes VOID.
To those who have been given much from God;MUCH is required.
FALLING FROM THE LIGHT OF GOD IS A CATASTROPHE .
Satan was an anointed, light bearing Angel,a chosen of God; however, he broke the conditions and fell from fellowship with God.
Likewise, each of us who say we know God;who have been rescued:much has been given; and much is required.
We are accountable for all the truth that we have received.
There are plenty of conditional ,action steps to hold your ground, keep the faith and run the race;and if these action steps are not taken, we might find that our last state is worse than the first.
Take heed;BE CAREFUL spiritually about where you are standing, LEST YOU FALL.
Stay under the shadow of His wings, abide daily in His Word and Prayer which empowers you to obey Jesus’ commandments out of love.
Be sober; be vigilant—play it to the safe side.
Do not be slothful and presumptuous .
