Bishop Miller is launching the Bartimaeus Project 2026 on behalf of the Western Episcopal District. This initiative will help provide much-needed eyeglasses and educational resources to our A.M.E. Zion schools in Africa.
Through her previous visits to Ghana and other regions of Africa, it became clear that access to eyeglasses is limited and that many of our schools are in need of basic supplies such as desks, chairs, textbooks, pencils, paper, and other teaching materials. Bishop Miller is inviting us to support this effort by donating reading glasses (1.0–3.0), used prescription glasses, or financial contributions that will be used to purchase school supplies locally in Africa.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us to be a blessing to our brothers and sisters abroad and to make a tangible impact on education and daily life. I encourage everyone to prayerfully consider how you can participate in this meaningful ministry.
