Now that Rainforest Falls VBS 2026 has officially come to an end… we can finally confess something:
None of this would have looked THIS incredible without Donna. 🌿✨
Every jungle vine, every snake-wrapped column, every perfectly placed crate, every layered detail, every “wow” moment people experienced walking through our church this week… somehow passed through Donna’s creative vision first.
As a professional interior designer, she has the rare ability to walk into a room and instantly know:
“That needs texture.”
“That needs height.”
“That vine should wrap THERE.”
“And yes… we absolutely need 47 more jungle leaves.” 😂
While the rest of us were happily making decorations, Donna was orchestrating the rainforest symphony behind the scenes — helping pull every detail together into something immersive, beautiful, and unforgettable for our church family and all the children who attended.
And after seeing the sanctuary full of jungle life during Sunday’s performances… everyone now understands exactly why we gave her this award:

But beyond the creativity and talent, what people may not fully realize is how much love, patience, leadership, and servant-hearted dedication Donna pours into every project. She doesn’t just decorate spaces…
She creates environments where people feel joy, wonder, welcome, and the love of God. 💚
