Our prayer is that every woman who comes to The Hiding Place will experience what David longed for in Psalm 17:8 to know the security of being cherished by God and the peace of living beneath the shadow of His wings.

Because when a woman knows she is safe in Him, she begins to live differently. She leads from peace instead of pressure. She serves from fullness instead of depletion. She loves from security instead of striving.

And she returns home not with another mountain to climb, but with a deeper confidence that she is the apple of His eye.

More Than Enough

Truth: Your worth isn’t based on performance.

Many women spend their lives trying to prove they’re enough.

Enough mother.
Enough wife.
Enough leader.
Enough Christian.

Psalm 17 reminds us that our value begins with belonging, not performing.

Never Out of His Sight

Truth: God’s attention never drifts.

People forget. People leave. People become distracted.

God never does.

The “apple of His eye” speaks of continual care. He watches over His daughters with intention and affection.

A Journey Through Psalm 17:8

“Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings.”

The Apple of His Eye

Learning who you are to God.

Dismantling false identities and replaces them with God’s perspective.

You Are Seen

Truth: God has never overlooked you.

Many women carry the quiet pain of feeling unseen, at home, at work, even in church. Before we talk about hiding beneath God’s wings, we first need to understand that He has always seen us. His attention isn’t earned; it’s constant.

“When have you felt invisible? How does it change your perspective to know God has never looked away?”

Come beneath the shadow of His wings.

PURSUED.

Have you ever wondered if God still sees you?

Not the version of you everyone else knows. The one who keeps showing up. The one who keeps smiling. The one who keeps holding everything together. The real you. The woman who is weary. The woman carrying questions she hasn’t spoken out loud. The woman who wonders if she’s been forgotten.

If that’s where you find yourself today, hear this:

God has never stopped pursuing you. Not because you’ve done everything right. Not because you’ve prayed enough. Not because you’ve been strong enough. But because you belong to Him.

David understood this when he prayed:

“Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings.”
Psalm 17:8

Think about those words for a moment.

The apple of His eye is something deeply treasured. Something carefully watched over. Something protected. God doesn’t hide His daughters because He wants them out of sight. He hides them because they are precious to Him. His pursuit isn’t loud or demanding. It’s the quiet, faithful love of a Father who never stops drawing near.

He meets us in our weariness. He stays when everyone else walks away. He gently reminds us that we have never been beyond His reach. Maybe the reason you’ve felt hidden isn’t because God has forgotten you. Maybe it’s because He’s been drawing you closer to His heart.

At The Hiding Place, we’ll discover what it means to live beneath the shadow of His wings, to know the safety of being Protected, the confidence of being Positioned, and the comfort of being Pursued by the God who calls us His own.

Beautiful Sister, You are seen. You are treasured. You are deeply loved. And you have always been the apple of His eye.

Come beneath the shadow of His wings.

POSITIONED.

There are seasons when you look around and wonder, “Lord, why am I here?” Why this place? Why this season? Why this path? But what if where you are is not accidental?

What if the road you are walking is leading you somewhere you cannot yet see?

Being positioned by God does not always feel significant. Sometimes it feels quiet. Uncertain. Hidden. Sometimes you do not recognize the purpose of a place until much later. But God sees the whole journey. He knows where you have been. He knows where you are. And He knows where He is leading you.

The hidden place is not always a place of stillness. Sometimes, it is where God orders your steps, prepares your heart, and positions you for what is ahead. You may feel hidden, but you are not misplaced. You are not here by accident.

At The Hiding Place, we will explore the different ways God hides His daughters: Protected. Positioned. Pursued.

Because sometimes, God hides you beneath His wings to cover you. And sometimes, He hides you while He prepares you for where He is taking you next.

PROTECTED. 🤍

Have you ever looked back over your life and realized...

God was protecting you, and you didn’t even know it?

The door that closed.
The relationship that ended.
The opportunity that didn’t work out.
The delay that frustrated you.
The season when you felt hidden and overlooked.

At the time, you may not have understood it.

You may have even asked God, “Why?”

But what if the thing you thought was rejection...

was actually protection?

What if God saw what you couldn’t see?

What if He knew what you didn’t know?

What if the hidden place wasn’t where He forgot you...

but where He covered you?

God’s protection doesn’t always look the way we expect. Sometimes He removes the danger. Sometimes He closes the door. Sometimes He redirects our steps.

And sometimes...

He hides us beneath the shadow of His wings.

This October, at The Hiding Place, we’re going deeper into the different ways God hides His daughters.

Protected. Positioned. Pursued.

And we’re beginning here...

PROTECTED.

Because being hidden by God has never meant being forgotten. Sometimes, it means you are being held, covered, and kept.

“Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings.”

Have you ever considered...

That being hidden by God is not the same as being forgotten?

Sometimes He hides us to protect us.
Sometimes He hides us to position us.
Sometimes He hides us simply because He wants us close.

This October, join us for The Hiding Place; a retreat experience designed to help women discover the beauty of God's hidden places.

Protected. Positioned. Pursued.

A weekend of biblical teaching, worship, reflection, rest, and authentic community as we explore what it means to live beneath the shadow of His wings.

I don’t have a picture from our very first Women’s Gathering, but I do have photos and memories from the last seven. As I look back over eight years of gathering together, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude, amazement, and awe at the faithfulness of God.

What began as a simple yes has become a beautiful testimony of God’s goodness. Year after year, He has met us, carried us, strengthened us, healed us, and reminded us that He is always faithful to fulfill His purposes.

To every woman who has attended, supported, prayed for, or desired to be part of these gatherings, thank you. Your presence, encouragement, and prayers have meant more than words can express.

A special thank you to those who have faithfully put their hands to the plow by serving, interceding, speaking, worshiping, and pouring into the lives of other women. Your obedience and willingness to be used by God have left an eternal impact.

As I reflect on these eight years, I am humbled by all that the Lord has done. Every gathering has been marked by His hand, His presence, and His faithfulness. What a privilege it has been to witness women encounter Him, find freedom, experience healing, and be reminded of who they are in Christ.

My heart is full. Thank You, Lord, for eight years of Your goodness. Thank you to every woman who has been a part of this journey.

I can’t wait to see what God does next year. ❤️
