Thank you all that came out Saturday morning for our workday/annual meeting- the weather cooperated perfectly overcast and breezy- thanks for the lunch thank everyone for loving our beautiful, country cemetery- We will try to get raffle tickets to anyone that would like to sell them or purchase them,next week sometime.

Rainy Day announcement , The Rutledge cemetery is not having our normal dinner fundraiser this year-we will be doing a workday/gathering/meeting at the Cemetery April 26th with a light lunch provided by the association- so that being said our fundraiser this year will be a Visa card raffle-we are taking donations starting at $100 and up-for example the prizes will be listed in memory of a family or family member whichever you prefer-
Example- 1000$ donated by Dicki Lee Sparks in memory of Mark Sparks

Eldon was more than a business owner—he was a pillar of the community. His kindness and compassion touched countless lives, and his presence brought light to those around him. Whether through his leadership, his friendship, or the quiet ways he supported others, Eldon left an indelible mark on our hearts.

Above all, Eldon was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and his legacy of love and strength will forever guide them—and all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, December 28th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Cowboy Fellowship, with burial immediately afterward at Rutledge Cemetery in Poteet.
