Recientemente ha habido algunos intentos de publicar información errónea sobre COVD 19 en esta página. He eliminado y seguiré eliminando esos mensajes a medida que los encuentre.
Covd19 es un virus. No es un engaño ni una declaración política. No es un ataque a ninguna fe en particular.

Kearns Baptist Church will resume Sunday Services this Sunday, May 31. Please join us 12:00 noon for a bi-lingual (english-spanish) communion service.

We had a very successful Yard Sale/Fundraiser on Sunday. Some donations are still coming in but we are north of $2,000.00 at last count. The support from our local community was overwhelming and we are thankful for everyone who came out to support us.
We especially want to thank some of our local car clubs who got behind our effort early on and were integral to our success.

All of these organizations made financial donations as well helping to publicize the event.
We also want to thank our Food Pantry volunteers who donated many, many hours to organizing and staffing the event and those in our extended facebook community who kept us in their prayers and, as always, to God be the Glory.
Thanks to this success we will be able to bring most of our bills current and give us some breathing space while we work to secure our financial footing going forward.

Just a reminder,the food pantry will be open tonight between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm. Please remember that repeat clients MUST show a Photo ID for every adult in the family and some form of ID for minors. Birth Certificates, Medicare cards , report cards etc. are acceptable as ID for minors. Copies are acceptable for all ID's however we can no longer accept Social Security cards as ID.
A post marked piece of mail showing your current address, or a current lease/rental agreement must be presented also.

I am pleased to announce that Cindy and I will be returning to Kearns Baptist Church as the English language Sunday School teachers beginning Sunday March 2nd. Classes will be at 11:00 am Sundays and 7:00 pm on Wednesdays. It will be oriented towards young adults but all ages are welcome.
I hope to make it a fun, enjoyable no pressure place where can people can learn about our faith and have their questions addressed

Many thanks to everyone who checked in and liked this page. Even more thanks to you who have actively supported the Kearns Baptist Church and Food Pantry over the years. Unfortunately Cindy and I have reached the point where we are unable to continue serving the church and the community.
Therefore tomorrow 9/9/18 will be my last Sunday as Pastor. Its been a wonderful 15 years but every beginning has its end.
The Food Pantry will continue operations under the direction of our new director Vivian Latham. The contact number remains 283-385-3763 and the hours of operation will remain the same for the foreseeable future.

Although I have long been convinced that I have a face made for radio I am happy(?) to announce that beginning Easter Sunday we will be live streaming both the English and Spanish language services on you tube. I will post our you tube address shortly.

Welcome to First Baptist Community Church!

We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, dirt poor, yo no habla Ingles. We extend a special welcome to those who are crying new-borns, skinny as a rail or could afford to lose a few pounds.
We welcome you if you can sing like Andrea Bocelli or like our pastor who can’t carry a note in a bucket. You’re welcome here if you’re “just browsing,” just woke up or just got out of jail. We don’t care if you’re more Catholic than the Pope, or haven’t been in church since little Joey’s Baptism.
We extend a special welcome to those who are over 60 but not grown up yet, and to teenagers who are growing up too fast. We welcome soccer moms, NASCAR dads, starving artists, tree-huggers, latte-sippers, vegetarians, junk-food eaters. We welcome those who are in recovery or still addicted. We welcome you if you’re having problems or you’re down in the dumps or if you don’t like “organized religion,” we’ve been there too.
If you blew all your offering money at the dog track, you’re welcome here. We offer a special welcome to those who think the earth is flat, work too hard, don’t work, can’t spell, or because grandma is in town and wanted to go to church.
We welcome those who are inked, pierced or both. We offer a special welcome to those who could use a prayer right now, had religion shoved down your throat as a kid or got lost in traffic and wound up here by mistake. We welcome tourists, seekers and doubters, bleeding hearts … and you!
