Limited Spots Available – Summer Creative Project for Kids: From Creating to Marketing & Selling!
A special hands-on summer experience where children participate in the full creative journey — building, creating, presenting, marketing, and optionally selling their handmade projects and artwork.
The Persian School of Iranians of Utah is excited to announce a special summer community project designed to help children learn creativity, teamwork, responsibility, and the value of earning through art and hard work.
As our regular classes are currently on pause while we make improvements and changes to our programs, we are bringing students together this summer for hands-on artistic and cultural projects in a fun and supportive environment.
Children and teens will participate in creative activities such as:• Painting• Handicrafts and DIY projects• Sculpture and creative building• Persian-inspired cultural art• Group art projects and teamwork activities
Throughout the summer, students will create artwork and handmade items that will be prepared for a special end-of-summer community exhibition and fundraising event.
Families and community members will be invited to attend the showcase, where students can proudly display, market, and optionally sell their creations. This experience helps children build confidence, creativity, communication skills, teamwork, and learn how ideas can become meaningful projects and opportunities.
Our goals are to:• Encourage creativity and confidence in youth• Teach children the full process from creating to presenting and selling• Help children learn the value of effort, teamwork, and responsibility• Create positive social and cultural experiences• Strengthen community engagement• Support future youth and cultural programs through Iranians of Utah
The program is open to children and teens of different ages and skill levels.
Details regarding schedule, location, and materials will be shared after enrollment.
