The path that you’re on has hurts, happiness, tears, wounds, victories, and many disappointments.

But I will say this: we get to change the direction that we are going.

We get to choose if those things are going to make us or break us.

But remember, without God, none of this will happen.

Speaking of Jesus, He got to step out of eternity and step into our time and forever change the course of time.

We get to follow in His footsteps also…

What do you get to do?

What You Get To Do:

Choose how past pain shapes your future.

Release things that hold you back.

Decide your daily attitude and focus.

Start a new habit or goal right now.

Forgive yourself and others for old mistakes.

Why It Matters:

Old wounds do not run your life.

Small choices lead to big changes over time.

You control your effort and your direction today.

It might make a world of change to the one that is stuck.

You’re further along than you think you are. Don’t believe the distorted narrative that you feed to yourself, listen to others , and what is seen in your own life. Give yourself some grace and if it is true then look for simple goals to achieve in the time between your date of birth and your expiration date . It’s the line between that matters. You matter ! If you find yourself being tossed back and forth by every wind that comes from the world, maybe you don't have faith. Something that can be shaken can be taken from you just as easily. Yesterday , I was teaching a substance abuse class. I asked a question who are you without the substance ? It really got quiet to the point that a if a pin would drop it would be the loudest sound. The men were looking around at each other , a few opened up their book to find an answer , and a brave soul piped up “I would be me !” The moral of the story is It doesn’t matter if you replace the word substance with a person , money , pride or anything else . You are still you . Most likely a stronger you and we need people like you ! Love ya
