TONIGHT and TOMORROW!!!

RISING YOUTH REVIVIAL RALLLY
A special evening of fun, food trucks, games, worship and an inspirational speaker. This event is initiated and planned by a group of dedicated and enthusiastic student leaders. The rally is a countywide, nondenominational event scheduled for Friday, Aug 2, at the South Rowan YMCA soccer fields.

PRAYER WALKS
Students and adults are encouraged to follow up by attending a prayer walk on EVERY Rowan school campus by meeting at the flagpole on Saturday morning August 3, at 9:00-10:00 am.

Through Jesus' resurrection power, believers can live a redeemed life because the Holy Spirit brings life to dead hearts. Romans 8:11 says " And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of the Spirit who lives in you." Jesus' resureection sealed His victory over sin and death for those who truth in Hom dor salvation. Believer WILL BE raised again in eternal life! Jesus won back what sin stole from humantity. Because Jesus lives...we shall also live!!!

Pray North Carolina

On the hot, humid afternoon of August 20th, several hundred people gathered for Pray North Carolina, which was held on the steps of our state capitol in Raleigh. The atmosphere was chaotic as a Caribbean festival, led by hundreds of sc****ly clad women in brightly colored feathers, marched through the city streets to the amplified drumbeat of their “music.” The pulsating sound that could be felt as well as heard was like that of war drums, reminding those who had come to pray that we were indeed engaged in an invisible spiritual battle for our city, state, and nation.

Following statewide leaders, who led the gathering in powerful prayers that focused on strategic areas, I was given the privilege of closing out the prayer rally with a brief message as well as leading in prayer. What could I say in such an atmosphere, when all the pertinent issues had been covered? I invite you to watch the following video of my participation.

For those coming in vans or busses to PRAY NORTH CAROLINA

***Please know that per the DOA, buses may drop people off on Edenton Street at the Capitol. This is where Pray North Carolina will be held. There is bus and van parking at the corner of Jones and Blount Street across the street from the Governor's Mansion.

This month Pray Rowan will have a special gathering on Sat, May 7 @ 10:00a at the Salisbury Courthouse (202 N Main St, Salisbury, NC 28144) to commemorate the National Day of Prayer.
