It’s that time of year again ✨ applications are LIVE

Here at St. Christopher, we are blessed to be surrounded by over 300 acres of natural lowcountry ecosystems. We strive to be a place where all are welcome, all may find rest, and all experience the wonder of the creation. Through our annual Artist Retreat, we are seeking to welcome 2 artists to sneak away from the busyness of life and enter into our space of eco-inspiration. If selected, each artist would be provided with free lodging at St. Christopher from January 17th to January 31st [apartment facilities include bedrooms, full kitchens, living areas, full bathrooms, and porch areas]. We ask that each artist would then lead an art class on site for the community and donate a piece of their work to display in our Conference Center.

We want to provide the space and time for artists to find peace and create. All are encouraged to apply! If interested, please apply using the link in the comments or the events page on our website. If you have any questions, feel free to email Lauren Harris at [email protected] 🤎

All are welcome to join us at St. Christopher Camp & Conference Center for our new cycle of the Sustainability Workshop series! 🌸

Our first session this semester will be held on site in the Chapel of the Palms on Thursday, September 17th at 6pm. The theme of the night will be “Coastal Gardening for Native Pollinators,” and will include a tour of our newly established Pollinator Garden, made possible through grant funding graciously provided by the Town of Seabrook Island and contributions from the Seabrook Island Garden Club! Tyler Harris, Associate Director of the Barrier Island Environmental Education Program, will be our main presenter.
