With gratitude and prayer, we share that our Parochial Vicar, Fr. Linus Sarte, MSP, has been reassigned and will soon begin a new chapter in his priestly ministry.

We are incredibly thankful for Fr. Linus' faithful service, joyful presence, and dedication to the people of St. Ann Catholic Church and Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Throughout his time with us, he has enriched our parish through the celebration of the Sacraments. We are blessed to have shared this time with him and are grateful for the many ways he has touched our parish family.

Fr. Linus' final weekends will be:
• AVBM: June 20–21
• St. Ann: June 27–28

To thank Fr. Linus and celebrate his ministry among us, we will have refreshments and cookies available outside the church after all Masses on these weekends. We invite everyone to stop by, share their gratitude, and wish him well as he begins his new assignment.

Please keep Fr. Linus in your prayers during this transition and ask the Lord to continue blessing him in his vocation and ministry.

We will be receiving more information regarding a new Parochial Vicar soon, so please stay tuned for future announcements.

In his prayer intention for June, the month dedicated the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Pope Leo XIV encourages us, “Let us pray together that each one of us might find consolation in a personal relationship with Jesus, and from His Heart, learn to have compassion on the world.” As we begin this Novena to the Sacred Heart, we join the Holy Father in that prayer.

This weekend, May 23-24, all are invited to wear RED to Mass. Red symbolizes this same fire of the Holy Spirit that descended upon Mary and disciples in the upper room. With expectant faith, let us unite ourselves to ask the Father for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
