Awana Lock-In is NEXT WEEK! Friday Feb 20th starting at 6pm.
This is for 3rd thru 8th graders.
(3rd thru 5th must be picked up no later than midnight while our 6th thru 8th grader are invited to stay the night and be picked up no later that 8am the next morning.)

We are going to stay up all night having fun, playing games, having bible studys and more. Dinner and Breakfast is provided.

Please reach out if you are interested in attending so we can get a headcount.

We are also having the Final grad prix workshop the same evening from 6-8 pm on Feb 20th so make sure you are there so you dont miss out on all the fun!

Thank You, Jesus, for a truly blessed and beautiful Christmas dinner at Salem Sayers Baptist Church. “Every good and perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17), and this evening was a wonderful reflection of Your goodness and grace.
Our time together began with a heartfelt prayer of blessing over the meal, led by our very own Pastor Bret, setting our hearts in gratitude and reminding us that unity and family is so important and with that “whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).
It was such a joy to witness the fellowship shared around the tables, smiles, laughter, warm conversations, and, of course, an abundance of sweet treats. Truly, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity” (Psalm 133:1).
This beautiful evening was made possible by many with such willing hearts and helping hands. Each act of service reflected Your love, Lord, as “each one used whatever gift he has received to serve others” (1 Peter 4:10). We are so thankful for everyone who came together to make this celebration so special.
May the joy, love, and fellowship we shared continue to remind us of the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ, born for us. Amen. ❤️❤️👏🏼🙌🏼

Hello December! Its hard to believe that December is already here. This month is a short month for Awanas, only 3 meetings. We are off on Dec 24th and 31st (Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!!!)
Be sure to join us on Dec 17th, we will be delivering our Awana Store bags and we will have a Family night with Hot Chocolate and Cookies.

Inviting God in our hearts
A Heartfelt Lesson with Mrs. Kendra
This week, our precious Sparks were blessed by a beautiful lesson from Mrs. Kendra about what it means to ask God into our hearts. She shared how, when we invite Jesus in, He cleans and renews our hearts, washing away our sin and filling us with His love. Though we may still stumble and make mistakes, we can always come to Him for forgiveness, knowing that Jesus lives in us and will never leave us. The children were deeply engaged—listening, learning, and rejoicing as they discovered the wonderful truth of God’s grace and the cleansing power of His love.

Awana’s October Fun!
October has been an exciting month at Awana! Our clubbers have been busy hiding God’s Word in their hearts through Scripture memorization, while also building joyful friendships that make Wednesday nights so special. We’ve enjoyed learning Bible stories, doing fun experiments, and celebrating all that God is teaching us together. As we look ahead to the upcoming holidays, we’re eager for even more opportunities to grow in our understanding of what it means to be Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed , faithfully studying God’s Word and living as His disciples. Each week, we’re learning to know, love, and serve Jesus with joy and excitement!

Hello Awana Families! Hope everyone is having a blast as we are wrapping up our 2 month of the Awana Year.

*Our next theme night will be *Stars and Stripes* night on November 5. We encourage clubbers to dress patriotic as we take time to pray for our country.

*Operation Christmas Child is in full swing so please consider taking a shoebox home, filling it up and returning it by Nov 5th.

*Finally we will be having our annual "Bakesgiving" on Nov. 19 so be sure to plan ahead and start researching yummy recipes to share with, and compete against, your group. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Our first month of AWANA at Salem Sayers is complete , and what a wonderful beginning it has been! The children have already learned so much and are having a great time hiding God’s Word in their hearts.
Psalm119:11
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
We were also blessed this week by our fourth new team, who served a delicious meal with love and joy.
There’s still time to join us! At Salem Sayers, you’ll find a place where both body and soul are nourished. Kids enjoy Bible stories, Scripture memorization, and fun activities, while adults gather for Wednesday night Bible study and fellowship.
