Okay So Friday starts the Annual Scarecrow Festival!!! See the KofC booth over in the VFW parking lot area. We will be raising funds for the Tootsie Roll Drive and hope to raise some very good donations! So while you are out enjoying the Scare Crows Come on over and see a Scare Dave.. i am not feathered but what can i say. See you all this weekend !!!

Well we are about half-way through the day and it appears from reports that many locatiosn are doing very well ! A report from Blue Goose said I need more cans !! Lots of donations. Great to hear Lets hope it continues this way Similar reports are coming from Jewel, Butera. So lets everyone go out todayand tomorrow, shop and make a donation to the Tootsie Roll Drive Woohoo !!!!

Well Tomorrow starts the big Tootsie Roll Drive. We'll be at 64 and 47, South Elgin Streets, Jewel, Butera, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, Wal-mart. If you see us drop a donation in the bucket, it all goes to the organizations to the right here

For all of you looking for a place to volunteer this weekend. Friday during the day we have openings at Butera (at Route 64 and Kirk in St Charles) At the West End Jewel (Randall and Prarie) on Saturday morning and on Saturday Evening the Dairy Queen at Route 64 and 9th Street. If you have time during the day there are also some openings out on the streets of South Elgin. Thanks everyone for their support of the IDF Tootsie Roll Drive !!! :)

Just a reminder that the St. Charles Tootsie Roll Drive will be held next Friday (21st) and Saturday (22nd) Volunteer areas are still available at Butera, Jewel, Dairy Queen, and Walmart ! For those who can we also have street corners in South Elgin that can be manned.
