Saint Ansgar Baptist Church

Saint Ansgar Baptist Church Saint Ansgar Baptist Church exists to reach the lost, comfort the hurting and encourage God's people. Our mission was given to us by God in His Word.

Saint Ansgar Baptist Church is a fantastic group of people who love God and love others. Matthew 28:18-20 says,

"And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And beho

Our goal at Saint Ansgar is to do exactly that. To Reach, Teach and Preach for God's glory.

This week we are excited to have Pastor Will Hatfield teaching in Sunday school and preaching in the morning service. Will Hatfield is the new state representative for the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches (IARBC). As he entered this new ministry he has shared with the association that he desires to focus on three C's: Care, Coaching, and Collaboration. He has wisdom to help us learn how to serve the body of Christ and to strengthen our sister churches.

We pray that the sermon on Sunday will move you to one of these actions: Believers, let us be willing to bear the shame with Christ; children, honor your father and mother; Brokenhearted believer, the Savior who cared for His mother while dying has not forgotten you. Your circumstances have not escaped His care; For those dead in sin: do not harden your heart towards Christ. Repent and believe the gospel. Let your suffering lead you to Christ, not harden you against Him!
