Tabernacle Community C.M.E. Church Reverend Renee Buggie-Brown is the Pastor of Tabernacle Community Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Annabelle Hogan told Rev.

It was between March & April 1959 when the late Annabelle Hogan-Williams and Reverend Eugene Berry began what is now know as Tabernacle Community Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Berry that they were going to open a church and she told Rev. Berry that he was going to be the preacher. They preached and reached out to many people. Every one sacrificed in their own way. Mothers and fathers sav

ed their pay checks, and even pawned a sewing machine and a typewriter.

Everybody put their monies together and the church became Tabernacle Community Church which was named by Mrs Carolyn Hogan Bittle. Tabernacle was born October 4th 1959 under the leadership of Rev. Eugene Berry now known as Bishop Eugene Berry.

Approximately 15 people join Sunday morning service, they are known as the founders of Tabernacle Community Church now known as Tabernacle CME Church.

Our prayer is to move forward with power, purpose, and commitment to families and communities.

What a beautiful day of worship, fellowship, and family! We were especially blessed to celebrate the dedication of one of our little ones to the Lord. 🙏🏽👶🏽

From praise and worship to prayer at the altar, we thank God for another Sunday together as a church family.

Communion Sunday at The Tabernacle. ✝️ 🍞🍷

What a blessing it was to gather in worship, partake in Holy Communion, and fellowship together as one body in Christ.

Pastor Renee Buggie-Brown preached from 1 Corinthians 11:23–26 and James 1:2–4 with the message, “No Test, No Testimony.”
