Jesus comforts his disciples, telling them not to be troubled but to trust in him. He promises to prepare a place for them in his Father’s house, declares himself as “the way, the truth, and the life,” explains his unity with the Father, and promises that believers will do greater works.

During Mass times, we invite everyone to gather in the main church for the liturgy. A prayerful atmosphere should be maintained for those honoring the Blessed Sacrament, the Real Presence of Jesus, in the Tabernacle, in the Divine Mercy Chapel, a place for quiet and private prayer.

If your little ones become restless and need a brief break, please feel free to use our vestibule. Screens are available there with a live stream of the Mass so you can continue participating while your child settles.

Jesus identifies himself as the sheepgate and says, “Whoever enters through me will be saved.”

This is the power and message of the cross, that dynamic into which we the baptized have been drawn. Redemptive suffering is what Jesus did on the cross: putting up with suffering for doing what is right. This is pleasing in God’s eyes, precisely because it is redemptive for the world, precisely because it takes away something that God hates.

Two bee hives have arrived!

Earlier this week, two nucleus bee hives were moved into their permanent homes, 10 frame Langstroth style hives. Volunteers inspected the frames of bees, found the queens (1 per hive), and gave them a drink of sugar syrup to help them get off to a great start.

Be on the lookout for more updates and keep the project in your prayers. We hope to have honey and maybe even other bee products on sale later this summer or fall to help the believers attend World Youth Day 2027.

This passage details the Road to Emmaus story, where the risen Jesus joins two downcast disciples, unrecognized. He explains scriptures concerning himself before revealing his identity through the breaking of bread.

Jesus explains how the Messiah had to suffer, interpreting “all the scriptures” starting with Moses and the prophets.

Their hearts “burn” within them while he speaks. They immediately return to Jerusalem to share that “the Lord is risen indeed”

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
