💜🙌🏾 What a powerful move of God we experienced today at Good Samaritan COGIC!

We were truly blessed by the speaker of the hour, Sis. Shavonne Powell, who delivered a timely message on “JOY” ✨🕊️ reminding us that real joy comes from the Lord no matter the season!

Special encouragement was also given by Mother Linda Randall 💐 whose words uplifted and inspired the house.

Thank you to everyone who came out and worshipped with us on this beautiful Pentecost Sunday! The presence of God was definitely in the building 🔥🙌🏾

Since 1957, Good Samaritan Church of God In Christ has stood as more than just a building — it has been a beacon of faith, hope, healing, and perseverance in the Sacramento community. Through generations, this ministry has continued to grow in Christ while carrying the prayers, sacrifices, and vision of those who came before us.

We have endured trials that could have broken us. We survived the fire. We survived heartbreak. We survived the passing of our pioneers and spiritual leaders who helped lay the foundation brick by brick, prayer by prayer. Yet through every storm, God kept His hand on this house.

What was established in 1957 is still alive today — still praising, still serving, still loving people, and still standing strong. Every pew, every prayer, every testimony is proof that God’s grace has sustained this ministry for decades.

As we look toward the future, we honor our past while believing for even greater things ahead. New growth. New vision. New generations. Same God.

Good Samaritan isn’t just surviving — we’re growing, evolving, and continuing the legacy of faith for years to come.
