Rutledge Family Church in Rutledge, TN. is prayerfully seeking a Worship Leader to join our church family.
We are a Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) congregation with a strong Pentecostal foundation, a heart for authentic worship, and a warm family atmosphere. We are a small but growing congregation; a well-established church with more than 50 years of ministry history, and our current lead pastors have faithfully served for over five years with a clear vision for the future.
We are looking for someone who knows they are called to lead worship and understands that worship leadership is ministry, not performance. The right person will be comfortable leading a team of talented musicians and vocalists, helping cultivate an atmosphere where the presence of God is the priority.
-Strong vocal leadership is essential.
-Ability to play an instrument is preferred, but not required.
-A genuine heart for worship and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit are a must.
-Confidence to lead and collaborate with an established worship team is important.
-Alignment with Pentecostal doctrine and worship within the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) is essential.
-We are seeking someone who desires to become part of our church family and actively invest in the life of the church.
We believe worship leaders should not only lead worship on the platform, but live a life of worship off the platform as well.
Faithful attendance every Sunday morning for our 11:00 AM worship service is required. Participation in two Wednesday nights per month is preferred, with a possible third when a fifth Wednesday occurs. We are looking for someone who wants to be an active part of the church family and support the broader ministries of the church.
At Rutledge Family Church, we believe that serving and supporting other ministries is one of the best ways to be poured into, build meaningful relationships, and encourage one another as the Body of Christ.
Our worship style is primarily contemporary, but we also love to throw it back to some of the old faithful songs that have shaped our faith and remind us of our roots.
The person in this role will work closely with our lead guitarist, a faithful and steady cornerstone of our worship ministry who has provided consistency and stability through every season.
We are committed to being patient in this process because we are seeking an anointed leader, not merely a talented performer.
This position may begin as volunteer or part-time, with compensation to be discussed with individuals who feel led by God to explore this opportunity further.
Our church is conveniently located approximately 30 minutes from East Knoxville, Morristown, and Jefferson City.
If you believe the Lord may be stirring your heart, we would love to connect with you. Please send a private message to Pastor Ed York or text him at (423) 312-0190
