Love making music with these talented folks! This is our annual end-of-the-year dinner out at HOLA! for the Basement Band (minus a few folks who were out of town). We continue year-round, but the summer is more relaxed. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all their talent and hard work to bring contemporary music to St. David's 9:00 a.m. service. These folks are amazing! Thank you! I wish I could say and do more for you! Sincerely, Susie Clements, Director.

Prayer for Memorial Day:
Almighty God, we commend to your gracious care and keeping those who serve in our armed forces at home and abroad. As we remember this Memorial Day all those who sacrificed themselves for our nation’s ideals, defend with your heavenly grace all who risk themselves in these times; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

On this Mother's Day, we give thanks to God for the divine gift of motherhood in all its diverse forms. Let us pray for all the mothers among us today; for our own mothers, those living and those who have passed away; for the mothers who loved us and for those who fell short of loving us fully; for all who hope to be mothers someday and for those whose hope to have children has been frustrated; for all mothers who have lost children; for all women and men who have been our substitute mothers and we who have done so for those in need; and for the earth that bore us and provides us sustenance. We pray this all in the name of God, our great and loving Mother. Amen.

Join us this Holy Week and Easter as we journey with Jesus from his triumphal entry into Jerusalem on a donkey to his arrest and crucifixion. Each day offers meaningful worship experiences to reflect on and meditate upon this sacred journey and His ultimate sacrifice for us.

Then, celebrate with us on Easter Sunday as we rejoice in the glory of new life and salvation!

An Invitation to Holy Week: Join us as we begin Holy Week with Palm Sunday, starting with a joyful procession with palm branches led by a live donkey. Children are invited to meet the donkey before and after the services—and enjoy a special photo opportunity! The service will then move into the solemnity of Holy Week.

Each day in Holy Week offers a worship experience to reflect and meditate on Jesus’ journey—from the palm procession into Jerusalem and the Last Supper, to His arrest and trial, and ultimately to the agony of the cross.

Our week concludes with Easter Sunday and Jesus’ overwhelming triumph of the Resurrection. Go to www.stdavidchurch.org for more information and the Easter Sunday schedule.

Looking for something fun to do on Sunday afternoon? You’re invited to the Alpharetta City Band concert at St. David’s at 5:00 p.m. This special performance is the Don Nahser Memorial Concert, honoring St. David’s parishioner Don Nahser. Don founded the Alpharetta City Band and served as its program manager and leader for 30 years.

Don is fondly remembered and deeply loved at St. David’s, and this concert celebrates his lasting impact on the band and the community. We would love to see you there as we honor his memory through music.
