In less than two weeks, the first online session of Reframe will take place.

This four-week, online training for pastors and leaders will help you assess your congregation’s evangelism readiness. This training will provide an evaluative framework to help you to recognize gaps you may need to fill and distortions you will want to correct. It will also provide a clearer path forward toward helping your church become more evangelistically faithful.

Each session is 90 minutes long and takes place across four consecutive Wednesdays, beginning September 16 and running through October 7. You can sign up at nabconference.org/events.

A yearlong analysis of the impact of NAB Multiplication efforts culminated last week in Portland, Oregon, where a group of NAB’s leading multipliers met with Dr. Harry Kelm and Stu Streeter. Their goal was to take the feedback from around the conference and design a pathway of ministry support to help our multipliers, churches, and regions join God on mission in expanding the reach of the Gospel through multiplication.

This Strategy Laboratory, or Strat Lab for short, has a simple objective – deliver God’s best care to the NAB’s Multiplier community.

Our thanks to the team who have given of themselves to pave the way for future multipliers: John Cassidy, Warren Rachele, Josh Huseby, Andrew MacDonald, Micah Brookhart, Jeremy Doak, and Steve Weisenburger.

ICYMI: As Summer Ends & Fall Begins -

Looking back at the celebration of what God is up to at Bonfire earlier this year, we can't help but look ahead to next summer's Triennial. See how you can support the ongoing ministry of the NAB. Also, coming up in September we have two online workshops: Reframe evangelistic training, and a trainin...

This past Sunday, Victor Baptist Church in Victor, Iowa, celebrated a milestone: 150 years as a congregation!

After a Sunday service that celebrated God’s faithfulness, they held a congregation-wide potluck full of good food, fun memories, and the deepening of many friendships.

Here’s an interesting fact about Victor Baptist: the first 56 years of the church, they were without a pastor. Though they find themselves in this position again, they are currently being led by intentional interim pastor Terry Schonfeld. We celebrate Victor Baptist and their 150 years of ministry, looking ahead to the next 150 and praying for God to bring them their next pastor sooner than 56 years from now.

What a joy it is whenever we get the chance to connect with and hear updates directly from our NAB missionaries. Brandon and Marci Jones, NAB missionaries in Brazil, are currently on home assignment, so they are back in the United States for a little less than a year. While here, they will be sharing with churches, connecting with supporters, and sharing everything God is up to through them and our other NAB missionaries and partners in Brazil.

Please pray for them: Their oldest daughter, Monica, is just starting her first year of college, and their youngest daughter, Olivia, is starting her senior year of high school. Meanwhile, their son, Daniel, graduated college last year and is working in anticipation of applying for law school next fall, so pray for all these transitions. Pray as well for their travels while in North America, and for their ongoing ministry, both the training Marci is taking in the States, with plans of translating into a Brazilian setting, and the ministry still taking place in Brazil.

For years, Lindsey Gelinas has felt God calling her to life-long missionary service overseas, but it wasn’t until recently that desire to serve found a focus in Japan through the NAB. Though she is still building up a base of support to help sustain her ministry in Japan, Lindsey was recently able to make her first trip there and see the country and people firsthand, which made her fall in love with them all over again.

Currently, she is in Colorado participating in missionary training to help prepare her for ministry in a cross-cultural setting, but when she returns home to Edmonton, Alberta, and the youth at Southwest Community Church, she will continue to her necessary preparations as she looked ahead to moving to Japan in the near future.

Would you join us in praying for Lindsey Gelinas as she works to raise up support and prepare for her upcoming ministry in Japan?
