🎉💜 A Day of Celebration and Praise 💜🎉

Today, we are rejoicing alongside our dear sister, Shirley Coheley, as she rang the bell at the cancer center, marking the completion of her cancer treatment journey.

Throughout every step of this journey, Shirley has remained steadfast in her faith, continually encouraging others with the words, “God is with me.” Today, her testimony continues as she joyfully shares, “God still has something for me to do!”

Pastor Scott had the privilege of being present this morning as Shirley rang the bell.

“Shirley is a woman of faith. It is a great honor that God allows me to be her pastor, and we are so thankful she is a part of the family of God here at DeSoto Park Baptist,” Pastor Scott shared. “She is a reminder to me that we may not always understand or see the outcome, but we can always remember that God is in control.”

Please join us in congratulating Shirley and celebrating this milestone with her! As this treatment journey comes to an end, we ask that you continue to pray for her as she moves forward in her mission of being a light for Christ and sharing the hope and faith that have carried her through.

Congratulations, Shirley! We love you and praise God with you today! ❤️🙏
