We have many phone calls asking if we take left over yard sale donations. We do not have enough room in our facility to take in a lot of items and we are not a thrift store. We appreciate the thought but we then have to take it elsewhere.

We do try to keep the following items and accept donations of:

We wanted to let everyone know some of the services we provide here at God’s Blueprints.

We can’t do it without people like you!

We provide the following and much more:
Individuals come to us for daily showers and personal care needs
We provide warm meals and weekend food packs
Assist transients in getting to their destinations
One on one Life Coaching sessions for coping with addiction, domestic violence, & issues related to homelessness
We do clothing referrals to area ministries
Write homeless verification letters for housing and assistance
Hand out provisions like Sleeping bags, blankets, undergarments, etc
Assist with resumes and job placements
Assist with mental health and medical appointments
Help Individuals enter short-term and long-term rehab
Assist in connecting families to organizations that can help
Assist in finding housing for clients during domestic violences


Our future Goal- long term transitional housing for individuals that want to enter back into society.
The ability to open as a warming shelter during frigid temps

In this past month God's Blueprints has served 24 unique homeless individuals that live here in Hawkins County. Of these, 3 have lived here less then 10 years and 1 was a transient just passing through. Our oldest was 78, while our youngest was 29 years old. All but the 4 mentioned above were born and raised in Hawkins County with only one exception. This person was raised here, moved to a nearby town while in a relationship. The relationship ended and they returned home for support. Unfortunately, that expected support did not pan out and now they are homeless.
Our job at GOD'S BLUEPRINTS is to allow the love of God shine through us in tangible ways. We speak life into them, listen to their life stories without judgement, provide hot showers, hot meals, and assistance as needed and able. Such as a warm sleeping bag, feminine hygiene products, rehab opportunities, mental health opportunities, guidance for housing and jobs. Whether it is here washing their feet, guiding them to seek much needed medical treatment, providing guidance and direction in their life, or being that caring friend that will patiently listen to you without judgement. We do all of this seeking God's salvation in their life and their own healing.
It takes GOD'S BLUEPRINTS about $1,800 a month to operate. We work with a volunteer mindset. All the funds go to rent, utilities, and operational costs such as providing transportation to rehab, mental health, etc.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and are registered with Candid (formerly GuideStar)
