Hi, my name is Tess Hardy, and I have been called to serve in the England Birmingham Mission! I am choosing to serve a mission because I know that there are people who are searching for hope, answers, and a greater understanding of God’s love for them. Jesus Christ has changed my life, and I want to spend the next 18 months sharing His light with others. 

The scripture I chose for my plaque is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” This verse reminds me that with Christ in my life, I can do anything I set my mind to and overcome any challenge through His strength and guidance.

On June 24-25, The Tabernacle at Temple Square will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. It will be 100 years since they debuted there. You can get tickets online to attend in person, or there will be watch parties across the country. Reach out to your local leaders if you have any questions. 100% of proceeds will go to charities of local organizations such as CARE, Helen Keller Intl, and The Hunger Project, with all donations matched by the Church's Humanitarian Services.

"I have been called to serve in the Tennessee Nashville mission!!

I am serving a mission because the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought so much peace, direction, and happiness into my life. I want others to experience the same joy and hope that comes from knowing Him. I know Jesus Christ has changed my life, and I want to help others come closer to Him so their lives can be changed too.

My mission scripture is Alma 26:12
Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.”

President Smith invited us to compile our testimonies of Christ in a notebook- to write down what we know and believe about Him. He shared that doing this has strengthened his own connection with the Savior.
