Favorite Team Sunday!

The Community Church of River Ridge family would like to announce the homegoing of our own beloved Sis. Sainttena E. Young; a pillar of this ministry and a powerful woman of God, a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, caring sister, aunt, and friend who for decades poured herself into her family and loved ones. She also loved and poured herself into this church, loved and served her leaders, church family, and this community. There is no telling the story of the Community Church without her. Her life, her love, and her sacrifice are woven into who we are. Her dedication to the service of God's people, the work of the Lord, and the ministry will never be forgotten.

We lift her husband, Rev. Lucien Young, Jr., her children, her grandchildren, her siblings, the entire family, and all who knew and loved her both near and far. Please keep the family uppermost in prayer. Pray for our church family and all those impacted and touched by her life.
