🌴🎉 VBS FINALE IS HERE! 🎉🌴

We may have had to cut VBS short because of the power outage, but we're excited to finish what we started! Join us THIS SUNDAY, July 12, from 5:00–8:00 PM for our Jungle Expedition VBS Finale! Drop-off begins at 4:30 PM

Here's what you can look forward to:
- Worship
- Bible Lessons
- Bounce Houses
- Sweet Shave

We'll also continue collecting donations for our VBS mission partner. Bring your dimes, quarters, or any donation as we work toward our goal of raising $1,000!

FOR ANDROID USERS!

Last week we made a post encouraging you to download our RSCC Family app. Through that app you can receive important updates on the life of the church, watch sermons you have missed, give, serve, and overall just stay connected. And, last week we sent our first quarterly update to give you a look at everything happening at RSCC.

However, since posting, we discovered that our app was not showing up for android users.

But we have good news… that issue has been resolved! If you are an android user who was not able to get the app last week, just go to your google play store and search “RSCC Family” and it is now available.

At the end of this week, we will resend the quarterly update that we sent out last week so that anyone who missed it can receive it.

In an effort to keep our church family connected to everything happening at RSCC, we are going to be releasing quarterly updates starting this month! In these updates we will recap what we have been learning, update you on impacts the church is making locally and globally, and other exciting information that will help our church family pray as we pursue Jesus together.

The easiest way to get these updates is by downloading the RSCC app - in your App Store, simply search “RSCC Family” and download the app, allow notifications, and you will receive the quarterly update as a push notification right to your device!

We are so excited about everything God is doing in our community and we want to make sure everyone is connected and a part of it. So download the app and let’s stay connected as we all Know, Love, and Serve Jesus together.

RSCC Family,
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel VBS for both Thursday and Friday. Due to the extent of the outages and reports that power restoration may take several days, we do not feel it is in the best interest of our families, volunteers, or staff to continue with VBS this week. We know many of our families have been impacted by the storms, and our hearts are with each of you during this challenging time. While we are disappointed that we will not be able to finish the week together, the safety and well-being of our church family and community must come first. We are incredibly thankful for the nearly 130 children who joined us this week, as well as the many volunteers who gave their time and energy to make VBS possible. It has been a blessing to see children learning about Jesus, building friendships, and having fun together. We also encourage everyone to check on neighbors, support one another, and keep those working tirelessly to restore power in your prayers.

Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and support. We are grateful for each family who participated in VBS and pray that the lessons learned this week will continue to impact the lives of our children long after VBS has ended.
