RSCC Family,
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel VBS for both Thursday and Friday. Due to the extent of the outages and reports that power restoration may take several days, we do not feel it is in the best interest of our families, volunteers, or staff to continue with VBS this week. We know many of our families have been impacted by the storms, and our hearts are with each of you during this challenging time. While we are disappointed that we will not be able to finish the week together, the safety and well-being of our church family and community must come first. We are incredibly thankful for the nearly 130 children who joined us this week, as well as the many volunteers who gave their time and energy to make VBS possible. It has been a blessing to see children learning about Jesus, building friendships, and having fun together. We also encourage everyone to check on neighbors, support one another, and keep those working tirelessly to restore power in your prayers.
Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and support. We are grateful for each family who participated in VBS and pray that the lessons learned this week will continue to impact the lives of our children long after VBS has ended.
